This message is to update Danaher's initial response to the situation in Ukraine.
Radiometer is a part of the Danaher Foundation.
The Danaher Foundation will donate $600,000 to help the Ukraine citizens.
We have selected three NGOs with teams and infrastructure in the region today to support refugees. These organizations are well-positioned to assess and meet the needs of the community in real-time.
Global Giving– $200,000 |
GlobalGiving is one of the most reliable and trustworthy charities in the world, supporting humanitarian assistance in impacted communities in Ukraine and surrounding regions where Ukrainian refugees have fled, including shelter, health and psychological support. |
Save the Children– $200,000 |
Save the Children has been operating in Ukraine since 2014, delivering essential humanitarian aid to children and their families.Immediate aid is focused onfood, water, hygiene kits, and cash assistance. |
International Rescue Committee(IRC) – $200,000 |
IRC teams are on the ground in neighboring Poland working with local partners in both Poland and Ukraine to quickly mobilize resources to provide lifesaving support and basic needs to people forced to flee their homes. |
With such a dynamic situation, we are monitoring how the needs of the refugees and those supporting them evolve over time.
We've earmarked an additional $400,000 for longer-term aid, for a total of $1 million of humanitarian aid.
Financial support is one tangible way we show our commitment to recognizing the dignity of every person and protecting human rights around the world.
We want to be a force for good in the world and will stand up for human rights always.
Please keep the people of Ukraine as well as all those who are supporting them in your thoughts.
